It is very similar to Klopp’s football so far. Squad shouldn’t have any issues adapting to this.

Agree, he’s played well. One pretty big mistake right before half time, apart from that pretty good.

Not bad at all so far. It's a fairly slow game, the other team aren't giving us many problems, and we've had several excellent passages of play. The playing out from the back is fine, but when a longer pass opens up as the best option, we should use it rather than keep locked in the routine - it makes us more unpredictable and it's just logical to attack the space if it opens up.

Our goals have been from fairly direct play, so I think we are mixing it up effectively.

Cool. Probably the mistake at the end reminded me of a few moments in the first 25 where I felt he was one of the big culprits in our scrappiness (although Quansah and McAllister also had their moments).

 

As I said element of confirmation bias talking, so may have been a bit harsh, but I'm not convinced that it's the best role for him. Like Jones, it feels like an accident waiting to happen when they are sat too deep. Both look better when the game is ahead of them.
