The problem is when people quote the people you have on ignore

Never been a problem for me. I got plenty of practice after I put Stronts on ignore in what must be close to a decade ago. I just see the name at the top of the quoted post and just scroll to the next post without reading. It’s like an exercise in letting most of it go out of focus.

I'm not always negative, its just a picture painted because some people don't like straight talking. Its like anything - you cant be critical anymore because people are way too sensitive. I stopped worshipping the ground players and managers walk on when i was a teenager.

I was, in fact, cautiously optimistic when the kids were playing and i said so at the time. I didn't think we'd win the league, but i also didn't think we would fall off a cliff.

He was burnt out last year. I made a prediction he would be gone at Christmas in the summer because stuff behind the scenes seemed off. The staff leaving, the player clear outs, the joke transfer shenanigans with Caceido and Lavia all pointed to him being totally pissed off. When your manager has no clue over a potential 100 million transfer you know something is wrong.

Why couldn't he have just told the hierarchy he was moving on? There may have been rumours but they could have quashed them. Announcing it like that back fired massively. The club can operate in secrecy when they want to.

He has done amazing and i agree only he can do it, but its only half a job. I have no clue who is capable or not now and we look in a worst state than i thought we would be. The team needs breaking up and we need someone to come in and stamp his authority because too many players have took liberties this term.

Im not on a windup, an no way a blue. Like everything, its been a shit show across his tenure. By that i mean the club, which has made every poor decision manageable in the time he's been here. he hasn't been properly backed at all, he's had to work with some unbelievable restraints, hes had the breakaway league thrust on him, he's been denied signings, he's had the owners looking to sell in a season causing uproar. He has bared the brunt of rug pulling's from underneath him.

I don't blame him for going, I'm frustrated and i was frustrated with him last night and over the last several weeks because he's become the opposite of who we know and seemingly care free and then he's talking tripe about attitude and outstanding performances when we can all see that's not the case. He should be laying into those players for coughing up such a position against some of the dross of the league. There might be a reason for that i dunno, but with 8 games to go we had things in our hands and for some reason the Jürgen we know crumbled along with the players.

Anyway this is my last season, i cant be arsed anymore and with him going anyway there's no longer anything to get excited about. Our owners are pish, the league is a joke and the team to beat is corrupt as fuck. Thanks for responding in a sensitive manner, its appreciated.

Fair play mate, for taking the time to write that. Still a few things we dont agree upon regarding Klopps departure, but from your last post overall I can agree or relate to most of the content.

Believe me, I share your attitude to the players, I admire their footballing skills, nothing more. I had the opportunity to talk to the likes of Fowler, McManaman, Barnes and others more than one time at various occasions in the 90s. Alcohol involved on most of them, and I never bothered to start a conversation. Pretty sure they felt the same way about me of course!

Also your last paragraph I’m fully understand, the whole thing has turned a more than a bit shit. It’s an addiction however, and not sure I’m gonna be able to quit.

The only thing i hope for is that theres nothing wrong health wise with him that he doesnt say. He looks stressed and he has aged a few years in the short time hes been here. Hes virtually carried the club on his back the entire time.

You give yourself way too much credit.

I think you’re a fucking dick head and the forum will be a better place once you’ve gone.
