I think a big problem is we don't take advantage of the easier games and think we can coast, then we drop points and put pressure on ourselves and we get these shitty performances where we look like a non league side at times. It doesn't help that we concede early because we're too passive in the first half and probably wear ourselves out trying to chase games. You can see the pressure is on and we seem to shit ourselves. The balance is never there, it's either passive and slow or pure panic and chaos.

We're broken lads. Something has flipped and we're just broken. If you didn't know who was challenging for the league watching this today, you'd say it was Palace.

At this rate, we'll finish distant 3rd as well struggle to win 3 games let alone the 7 we need.

That was fucking awful and even though we were unlucky not to score, they could've had 2 more at least.

Well he’s not getting the ball, we are not passing when we can but when we have to, we constantly pick the wrong option.

At some point just admit he's been shit. He's not going to finish with you over it.

It's the mental aspect that's become so slow. I half expect George Sephton to announce each pass before it happens.

The fans need to hold their nerve as much as the players. The confidence has slipped away. It can come back if we just fight our way back into this, but there's way too much tension in the team at present.

They don't get the chance we've given them today. Normally, I'd agree, but it just doesn't apply to performances like this.

I think you have to start the game and stamp your authority on the game. Aggression, plenty of pressing and direct attacking. We're too passive and I think it lets the other side relax and they start having a go because they must vibe that we're not going to battle in the challenge or for the loose balls.

Get Salah off asap, now wonder the attacks gone to shit since he come back in. You can tell how he he's stunted Conors trheat down that side while offering fuck all himself.

He’s actually managed to be our worst player in that first half, which is quite an achievement.

Hate to agree but I've been thinking this for a while too. We look less fluid and much more predicable with Mo, despite him still being our biggest goal threat.

Our midfield is terrible. MacAllister strolling around and slowing the tempo with everything he does. Endo a catastrophe, he has had a few good games, but he is nowhere near the level we need.

Nunez stupid and making wrong choices as usual, Salah contributing nothing.

Robbo, Diaz and Bradley the only acceptable performances.

It doesn’t look good. 45 minutes until the nail is well and truly in the coffin.

Macca is having a go but he needs to up his passing, far too many misplaced, and be more awake. Gets caught quite a lot. For me though it’s Jones and Endo need to come off. Neither of them have offered anything. Never understood the praise Jones gets, nowhere near good enough at this level. If Jota doesn’t start the second half then it’ll be more of the same. No threat up front, weak midfield and nervous defence. This is all of our own making though, we should be able to beat these.

Klopp looks shot to pieces. How the hell he is going to say something to the players to turn this around.....good luck Jurgen.

He's paid well to do it, really dislike this characterization of a manager as some poor put upon observer.

I don't think we've gone to shit, I think we've had performances like this in us all season.  We looked like we were hitting form in January (when Salah was at Afcon?) but soon after we had the shitshow at Arsenal that seemed to knock us back a bit which was then compounded by Salah's return to the team. We've been mostly scraping by ever since.
