I'm just going to take a few moments to ponder a mental image of that cunt standing on a razor sharp cattle grid in a very heavy hat.

The cattle grid is just out of shot

This wanker's taken shady to a whole new level with this. But in a sadistic way I kinda admire the mother fucker's hellbent intentions on getting everyone against him.

“Public likes are incentivizing the wrong behavior. For example, many people feel discouraged from liking content that might be ‘edgy’ in fear of retaliation from trolls, or to protect their public image.”

Dude's obviously never been on twitter, no one is checking the likes to a post they disagree with so they can interrogate/abuse them or whatever.....it simply doesn't exist.

It does exist to be fair.  There’s a tiny minority doing it.  They’re called the Labour party.

A record number of firms plan to cut advertising spending on X next year because of concerns that extreme content on the platform could damage their brands, dealing another blow to the financial fortunes of Elon Musk’s social media company.

A global survey by market research firm Kantar found that a net 26% of marketers plan to decrease their spending on X in 2025, the biggest recorded pullback from any major global ad platform. Only 4% of marketers overall think X ads provide “brand safety” — certainty that their ads won’t appear alongside extreme content — compared with 39% for Google ads.

Controversial billionaire Elon Musk has called the Australian government “fascists” over its attempts to tackle deliberate lies spread on social media.

Social media companies could be fined up to five per cent of their annual turnover under the Commonwealth’s proposed laws.

Mr Musk, who owns social media platform X, responded to a post about Australia’s measures with one word.

“Fascists,” he wrote.

Asked about the comment, Bill Shorten hit back.

“Elon Musk has more positions on our free speech than the Kama Sutra,” he told the Today show on Friday.

“When it’s in his commercial interests, he is the champion of free speech, when he doesn’t like it, he’s going to shut it all down.”

Australia’s misinformation legislation would give the communications watchdog powers to monitor and regulate content on digital platforms.

It would also allow it to approve an enforceable industry code of conduct or introduce standards for social media companies if self-regulation was deemed to fail.

This is not the first time Mr Musk has battled against Australian authorities.

In April, the eSafety Commissioner issued an edict to X, formerly known as Twitter, to remove graphic content after clips of Sydney Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel being stabbed remained on the platform.

During the months-long saga, Mr Musk accused the Australian government of suppressing free speech.

Elon Musk says a Kamala Harris presidency would 'doom humanity' and 'destroy' the Mars program

Humanity needs to become multi-planetary before a "supervirus" or "nuclear war" ravages the Earth, Musk said

“While I have many concerns about a potential Kamala regime, my absolute showstopper is that the bureaucracy currently choking America to death is guaranteed to grow under a Democratic Party administration,” Musk, who has endorsed Former President Donald Trump’s White House bid, wrote on Sunday..

“This would destroy [NASA’s] Mars program and doom humanity,” he added, calling the upcoming November election “a fork, maybe the fork, in the road of human destiny.”

In his post Sunday, Musk warned that humanity needs to become “sustainably multi-planetary” before something happens to humanity, hypothesizing about nuclear war or a “supervirus.” But this isn’t the first time that Musk has forecast an apocalyptic scenario that will doom society.

He’s warned about population collapse due to low-fertility rates, artificial intelligence-powered robots taking over the world like something straight out of “The Terminator” (Musk’s Tesla (TSLA+4.93%) has its own humanoid robots), a repeat of the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, and even the sun engulfing and incinerating the Earth (which isn’t expected for at least seven billion years).
