It's all shit, and should be banned.

Unfortunately it won't, and this is just part of the game now, we can either take part or get left behind.

All I can hope is that we at least act in a way that's somewhat moral and we do right by the fans of any teams we take over.

Morals in football?

Well as much as there can be.

There might be a difference between having a sister club that exists as its own entity, but can also benefit from being under the larger umbrella, as opposed to cynically buying smaller clubs to use as feeders and to strip their assets.

How do bordaux fans feel about it? Are they made up that they'll be part of a larger structure and they'll get some support to bring them back up, or are they pissed off that they are going to be playing second fiddle to another team?

Is it really the best time to be buying French, or are we looking to buy while the owner's are desperate?

Hardly surprising that the Arab companies have pulled out of the tv deals given how PSG was just a vehicle for self promotion. It happens when you make deals with devils.

FSG have always been looking at control of their own TV rights so if they get the opportunity to soft launch a model in France I doubt they'll mind too much.

If they can keep Bordeaux in the 2nd tier, it would seem all the clubs round them going bust would seem like a great opportunity. Getting Bordeaux back into the CL is a much easier job if their competition is reduced.

Thursday. How to win the league. Fuck off.

Ian Graham on the book title.

"The book title 'how to win the premier league' is tongue in cheek I hope I make it clear in the book that it wasn't only the data, the data doesn't make any difference at all unless you have a great manager, sporting director, scouting department to go and do all of the other work that is absolutely necessary for success"

My sides are splitting.

Is that the intention with a tongue in cheek comment?

I think you might be taking this a little too seriously.

Take a data book seriously. How silly of me.

Edit... And the idea of being funny, you shouldn't need telling it is. But it was clearly so unfunny, he had to actually put it in the book.
