If we have no Salah and no Nunez then a win is not guaranteed even against Luton Town.

Again questions have to be asked of the Club for yet another season, if its not one thing its another. No wonder Jurgen is getting off.

Injuries continue to mount weekly, not enough bodies in the squad, the question marks over the medical team AGAIN and yet we are still in 4 competitions. Too many players out and not enough in. Its shocking that a club of our stature is still having these issues.

I completely agree

Why haven't we signed 8 forwards instead of 5 to cover the 3 injured players?

I reckon if city were missing Ederson Walker KDB Silva Haaland Alvarez and Foden plus had stones kovacic and gvardiola missing they’d be struggling to put a side out as well

Funny.

We were poor last year but we had Firmino, Nunez, Gakpo, Salah, Jota and Diaz.

This year we have one less

Last year we had Henderson, Fabinho, Kieta, Ox, Milner, Thiago, Eliiot, Jones, Melo, Carvahlo, Bacjetic. yes most had turned to poop but he had 11 midfielders. This season he has 8.

So hes down in numbers from last year. So what is it? Too many games? Too overworked? Not enough rotation in all the comps?

bad planning IMHO, something which has cost us numerous trophies.

Yeah but City's game plan doesnt involve heavy running for 90 minutes a match.

City like us are a super fit intense pressing team. Like us they spend most matches with most of the ball

over city’s equivalent team with equal numbers of injuries to equal players. Point being our squad is exceptionally strong, you can’t legislate for these injuries.

Although maybe there’s a few on here who can explain to our world class team of elite fitness specialists medics physios nutritionists etc where they are going wrong and how we can avoid impact injuries

Unfortunately Spearing is not in the registered PL squad, even though we had ample room available. I suppose putting him in would have been too much of an admission of failure on the club's part.

But we could register him, the same as if you take an out of contract player after the window. The reality the kids in the squad are probably better than spearing in his prime.
