Love this bit:

"The manager and players have done brilliantly and it is fantastic for fans who thoroughly deserve the success they are enjoying.

Everton fans have packed the ground even when they have been struggling, turning out through thick and thin, so they deserve all the pleasure they are getting now."

Heroes, eh? :ermm:

I think we've just got to accept that most (if not all )neutrals will be delighted at Everton's start to the season - underdogs,no money, hard work, young British manager, fairy tale and so on and on and on.So what can Hansen as a professional pundit really say - even if he thinks they're a piss poor side riding high on the back of a series of games which they've battled through 1-0 he's hardly going to say it.

Thousands of Evertonians mysteriously disappeared at the start of the season. They've only returned again now they're doing well.

Are these the same fans that were leaving the ground at half time in a home game against Ipswich, a couple of seasons ago?

Are these the same fans not taking up their season ticket allocation without begging adverts on the local radio, and begging letters sent by the club?

One of their loyal fans was debating whether or not to buy a half season ticket, he was walking in front of me on sat. Wonder why he didn't buy a full season ticket at the start of the season. We all know why, he and many others had no intension of visiting goodison this season. Most are nothing more than fair weather fans.

That's not true.

Hate them all you like but to say that most Everton fans are "fair weather" is a bit ott.

I mean, when was the last time thay had any fair weather?? ;-)

Let them enjoy their week of gloating. It'll all end very soon.

Let's not forget that they;'ve been above us at Xmas in 2 of the last 3 years.

Fuck em.

Bitter horrible cunts.
