Hate to say it Mark, you really to play into the miserable & cheap Scot’s stereotype.

I can say this with love because my Dad is also one.

Accepted with Love, Scott.

My kids think Taylor Swift is fucking shite so it's a moot point anyway.

I was just looking at prices for the Leeds O2, clicked on the first advert to see how much it is, Flaming Lips is £60.

It won’t get any cheaper in the next 10-15 years, maybe need to set expectations early.

They go to lots of free gigs in Edinburgh so at 6 & 8, know what it's about.

I'm going to see some stuff at the Jazz Festival next month & the tickets are all about £12/13 so it depends what you're into. If you want to see some ants on a stage in a stadium, you will get absolutely fleeced unfortunately.

Everton probably don't have much of a choice though, they'll need to sell by the end of this month. The mancs will get him for a pittance if nobody else bids or Everton can sell one or two of their bums.

I'd bid. Moneyball it, at worst it hikes that shit up for United.

Probably depends if branthwaite has decided he already wants to go to old trafford.

I’ve read he’s agreed personal terms.

Still, bang the price up like we did with Caicedo.

I think the difference will be the clock. Brighton didn't have to sell, even though at 100m+ they wanted to. I think Everton have to bring money in before the end of June, so if branthwaite has his heart set on the mancs, Everton have to sell by June 30th, it feels like there'll be no escaping fire sale pricing.

Surely seeing the shit that is coming up take the points hit and keep your better players as even with a deduction they will get enough points to stay up

Obviously we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes, it feels like the mancs have shot their load early here.

There is >2 weeks before the PSR deadline. IMO, the mancs would have more leverage leaving this 10 days.

That is a fair point. The 2 points they lost last year was a piss take.

They’ll get some weird delay or dispensation from the PL because Moshiri has agreed to sell the club to the Roma owner, thus allowing them to extend the “sell by” date.

I don't think that'll make any difference because a new owner couldn't straighten the balance sheet by putting money in.

It could be. And of course if branthwaite isn't 100% desperate to go there, it opens the door for lots of others to come in last minute knowing where their marker is.

Sounds like there won't be a number 6 brought in. Not overly surprised as we have a lot of midfielders and i think they'll think that those that run out of steam last year might step up after a year to get used to the league. Posssibility of Trent playing there and Bajectic being fit again. Morton will also get a chance in preseason to see if he can be a squad option.

Feels disappointing, I do think I agree though. No point spending £40m on someone we’re not convinced on.

I do think Guimarães is good enough, I don’t think we’ll pay the money for somebody approaching 27.

If, for example, we hear Tchouameni is available before September, I bet we find the money.

I agreewith both Guimarães and Tchouamemi. Doubt either happen this summer.
