We should

He absolutely is t the type of 6 we need. Big wages for a older player.

He'd be like a Thiago type signing (age/wages/contract length), but 1 that would actually play games.

Serial winning world class players like him help to achieve instant success even if it goes against a model of buying young to build for the future.

We should buy him and have him and Trent play false centre back or some nonsense . You'd eat it up.

Way out of our budget but he would walk the league if he came here, however El Ghazi isn't so there is some hope for this window. Flick loves him and Kroos has retired so my guess would be either of those would be more than happy to take him.

I don't think he's a bad seed. Players are allowed to speak their minds.

And if what's on their mind makes them look like an entitled cunt, then they're a bad seed.

Absolutely horrendous attempt at #bants.

It's perfectly reasonable for him to say what he said and it's also reasonable for us to ask for whatever fee we want. It's all just business.

The guy is basically an irrelevance anyway. He'd be 4th or 5th choice here, depending on Gomez, and the clubs after him are average German clubs.

They are selling him because he's not a 6.

Or because he has 12 months left on his deal and they need funds for Palhinha. They've also put others up for sale including Gnabry, Goretzska, De Ligt and Mazraoui.

Kimmich said he wants to play as the 6 but Bayern don't see him as 1.

De Ligt has always failed to live up to his hype. Amazing agency work to get him two big moves.

They are fine with selling him and buying someone who is basically the same age. That says it all. They don't want to pay his salary and don't find him very useful.

They were fine selling Lewa to bring in Sadio to be the number 9.....it says nothing, it's a business decision made by a couple of people.

They've only been paying his salary for the last decade but sure now they've decided they don't want to, makes sense. Wasn't he a big reason why they went through to the CL semi's? Surely they found they pretty useful.

You don't see the irony of wanting to sign him to be our 6, meanwhile they want to replace him with an actual 6, who is the same age as him? It would be flat out bizarre. Bayern aren't inventing that he's not a 6, they have seen him play for years.

It’s possible for Bayern to want to keep him but not want him to leave on a free transfer. Regardless of whether he’s a 6 or a right back or which one he’s better at he’s not the 6 for us. We need a pitbull not another Thiago who will be happy to let his legs go on our time and our dime.

So Adrian doing us a favour and refusing a new deal means he's off and opens up a 3rd non H/G spot.

We usually promote from our academy when it comes to 2nd/3rd choice keepers don't we? Unless Kelleher is off I can't see us doing anything in that department. Alisson - Kelleher - Jaros (homegrown).

Pacho, Bakayoko and 1 of Wieffer/Ederson and we good.
