Trent agent is either planting he's thinking of seeing out his deal to get better terms or letting it slip he's off on a free next year. If he does see the contract out and move for nothing it's a bit of a cunt move as he will obviously have spoken to Madrid and wants to go there with Davies next year

United and Chelsea’s scattergun approach towards signing players goes on, with them not breaching spending rules, allegedly.

The problem is that eventually they’ll probably get it right, maybe not this season, but they might.

Our problem is we’re better than them on last season’s showing, but should strengthen to stay there, and we’ve been here before haven’t we?

Crying starting on twitter now

He's another like de Ligt. He might prove good but hasn't made the step up from Portugal yet. Having said that it's hard to see him not being better than what they have. He's been shit whenever I saw him at PSG. That Portuguese league really can make players look far better than they are

I love the crying Twitter lot, he's had one season at PSG and they are willing to move him on, obviously no fee yet but you'd assume it'll be at a loss(although it is United they are dealing with), he's also 24 during this season which is pretty much where you'd expect a modern player to peak, not really a great endorsement of him or the expectancy he can further develop. He still may well come good of course, but certainly doesn't vibe to me as he will currently.

Read earlier they are expecting to get close to 150m from sales.

Not arsed about him nor seen him play but at 50mill he'd have to go straight in the team ahead of Quansah. Think we'll wait to see what VVD does before buying a CB.

Quansah is going to have a major part in this team. Closest thing I've seen to Virgil.

Laughable.

I always thought the Van Den Berg signing was odd, when he first arrived it looked like he wasnt mobile enough, comically so, but Klopp and the team weren't idiots.

They wouldn't have identified and signed such a limited CB, it always made me think there was something we were missing.  Could be his parents were athletes and they knew he'd develop.

Could be he was experiencing growing pains and muscular issues when we first saw him.

Either way, I've not given up on him yet.

We've been publicly humiliated over Bellingham, Caiceido, Lavia and now Yoro. All big money young players. It's not a good look.

Liverpool cooled their interest in Yoro after his demands for guaranteed game time at Anfield.

Think it was just that he’d played 1st team in the Eredivisie at very young age and was dirt cheap.

No lose situation really.
