Heard recently Zirkee was on Bayerns books as a youngster, assume he’s worked with 7-Hag.

34m, plus a reported 12m on top to his agent?

Someone at United is absolutely taking the piss here if this happens. Who but United (OK, maybe Chelsea) would spend that kind of money on a player who's best attribute is ... that he's a half-decent passer? Oh, he's tall, is that meant to be it? He's not that good at scoring, is actually below average in terms of xG/xA per 90, and that's in Italy! I might humbly suggest that if you aren't very good at scoring or creating goals, you're probably not a very good attacker.

Either it's all his agent using friendly journos to build up his reputation or United aren't going to be any better at recruitment under their supposed new regime than they were under the last one.

What does that even mean? If they're not solving all their financial problems with the deal, they might as well take the 2 point deduction for failing PSR. They clearly don't want to sell "braithwaite" otherwise. You'd think the "get real" would come from Everton to that slippery tax dodging cunt.

Apparently the mancs have offered £35m + £8m for Branthwaite and The Ev wants £70m.

As Sir Roger said, Guehi is only a couple of years older, currently the better player (if you class international selection as a barometer) and available for less.

I’d think I’d be happy with us signing Guehi.

Guehi is not better than Branthwaite.

Time to bump up the fee the mancs have to pay. 40 million plus 8 million add ons.

Not entirely sure how this is different to Red Bull clubs or Girona & City…

The rule only came in recently and City signed Savio from Troyes not Girona (he was on loan at Girona) so they aren't in the same competition.

If Utd want Todibo they'd have to sign him for next season or, presumably, not register him for European competition.

If the present incumbent of the England shirt at a young age, Guehi, is apparently available for 55m or so, I cant see Everton getting near the 80m they are talking about.

Being honest Sir Roger, I think Braithwaite is an incredible talent. Sometimes you see a player and you know they will get to the very top. I have that feeling with him. I see him going to City in the next two years. I'd love him here.

I see the Blueshite have been linked with that Irish kid at Lyon, Jake O'Brien. Is he any good? Maybe, he could be a replacement for Braithwaite.

It was Kone at Gladbach.

It looked like being him or Thuram at one point until Endo showed up and we started chucking 100m at Caiceido

I just think there are times we are happy to let agents link us with players. It's not that we have zero interest, but we're pretty unlikely to want them, but to help the agent we don't shutdown the discussion, in the hope it helps us with the agent down the line.
