I know he scarpered and is less interested in honouring the fallen than he is attempting to cover his tracks after being caught lying, but REMEMBER WHEN CORBYN HAD A LITTLE POPPY ON HIS JACKET!?!??!!?

We need farage to run with this now and get it headline in the right wing media.

I find this mistake astonishing. It matters not what you think about all the D-Day stuff, the reaction to this would be clear to the most stupid person, unless you're genuinely so arrogant as to think nobody would find out, which even if he is, his advisors aren't. I see @Bruce Spannerthinks he's just entitled. Personally I'm getting to the point where it seems he's trying to blow it up so much, it's just a scorched earth tactic - and that's from the calling of the election, which none of his party seemed to want. It's feeling like this is punishment for all the letters that were going in the days before he called it.

Both examples speak to his fragility and petulance. He could see the letters coming in against him and he snaps and thinks he’ll show them who’s in charge and in this current instance he’s so consumed by the criticism that he lied over the tax claims that he has to get into a studio to get his case across before the next debate without any thought to the optics

My first sentence was a response to your question to me.

The following paragraphs were comments on any of you getting involved in personal mud slinging with other posters.

Err, no. You called me out by saying " no need for this"

No comment on anyone else.

I really hope this lady wins herself a seat in Parliament, she'd enrich Westminster. Unfortunately don't think she will but I hope she beats the Labour candidate that's been thrown in instead of her and I make no apologies for saying so. For the Labour Party to slur someone like this is shameful.

This is going to end him isn't it?

The flagshaggers will never forgive him for this!

The one thing I don't understand is that if he genuinely doesn't want the job anymore, why not just give it to Penny Mordaunt or Kemi Badenoch?

He seems intent on absolutely blowing up the Tory party. He's making the Theresa May campaign look successful!

Seen a clip on Twitter and Dorries ( I know ) was saying he never told the cabinet that he was going to speak to the palace to dissolve Parliament as he was afraid of it leaking out and all the letters that Brady was sitting on would be activated and a leadership challenge would have to called .

We are talking about a guy who managed to lose a 1 on 1 election vote to half woman / half vegetable , LizTruss , so maybe we shouldn't be too surprised at events.

This.

People are looking for far too complicated reasons for all of this; he wants to destroy the tortes, he’s just wanting out to go to California etc. when the obvious answer is he’s just a useless, incompetent cunt.

ha ha, works in two ways also, that Farage tweet.

As well as the right wing aspect, was he not caught putting in for a German passport through his German wife around the time of the Brexit debate ?
