On a day when there was a gathering in France of men who put the safety of their country before self-preservation, Rishi Sunak chose to place self-preservation above honouring them.

Look how much he shifts in his seat, looks away as he says 'no' to lying.

"Yeah, I think it's pretty desperate stuff". Starts off the sentence with a yes.

He usually speaks quite robotically. He sounds emotionally invested there because he's been caught with his pants down.

His voice is even breaking a bit, keeps fidgeting.

This interview is why he left early today, I bet he wished he was still wiping dribble from Biden's chin.

This is absurdly bad, all of it.

He is one detestable little cunt.

You can see and hear the disdain he has for the interviewer and the fact he is being challenged - he can't control his privilege and hates being challenged, sees it as an affront.

And on top of that he is a fucking liar.

An absolute piece of fucking shit as is anybody who votes for him/his party.

They're fucking mad. Surely even their own clowns are seeing through this? Is their plan to bring about a " politicians always lie" reaction? I heard one of them earlier say something like "nobody seemed to care about the lies in the Brexit vote and people know the difference between lies that have some truth in them and those that don't".

It is a scorched earth policy now - just keep repeating the lies over and over and at best it sticks with morons/those not paying attention and as you say it just gets a "they all lie" reaction.

The thing is though they've been called out like never before this time.

Fake twat. You are the biggest hypocrite ever to grace this site.

Russia attack Ukraine: Ukraine and EU bad and must bend the knee to Putin. Putin was provoked.

Israel attack Gaza: Fuck you Israel, never surrender Gaza.

You fucking loon.

Tories getting called out everywhere in the media. Even Fiona Bruce is doing it.

Sunak should have just left the £2k lie at the debate. It was out there and he could have just let it die down leaving it sat in the public consciousness.

Instead, by incessantly pushing it and getting his goblins to keep pushing it in interviews, he’s unleashed a massive pushback and he and his goblins are being labelled liars from every direction. Coupled with his D-Day decision today it’s become a complete disaster.

The sea change reminds me of the reaction to the Tory "New Labour, New Danger" ad campaign in 97, depicting Blair with demon eyes. Even parts of the press, who had been largely sympathetic to the Tories up to that point, saw that as too much and called it out.

Sea change is a good description of what we are seeing - used the same phrase myself on here yesterday to describe how i felt the reactions had been.

Cunts are finally, finally getting their long, long overdue comeuppance.

Remember The Last Leg getting an oboe player to follow Hunt around? I want someone to follow Sunak around his public appointments playing The Self Preservation Society,

If the clips from Questiontime are anything to go buy the audience seem to be lining up to kick Mark Harper square in the bollocks with each question.

Hammered on the 2k tax issue, laughed at over immigration and had the riot act read on social care.

It's such a shame that these things have had to happen before people have finally had enough but it is glorious to see them getting hammered.

The country needs to punish them like never before on July 4th

Yeah I know, I was just explaining that link. It's one of the reasons I can't stand the Labour Party. Another is they do not seem to want to address growing inequality and invest in public services. They also appear unperturbed about reducing childhood poverty.

Indeed

That was hilarious. One of the most ridiculous attack posters I've ever seen.
