I fear that people will be as outraged as the right wing press dictates.

It is utterly bizarre, just snubbing the vets, on fucking D-Day, but having a photo op with world leaders front and centre everywhere looking like a statesman is literally the best campaigning you can do!

'Our brown PM snubs heros' will be trending on facebook before the nights out.

Well, we'll see if the rags start their headlines with "Fury as...". I doubt it.

I fucking hope so, but I honestly doubt the media will make anything of it. Hopefully Labour can get it on one of their campaign tweets and it could grow from there.

Farage is the one who will weaponise it properly, as he is trying already, Labour will just need to remind folk.

I imagine the press will go with it past 12 to be 'respectful' and not bring politics into it.

Hypocrite cunts. A gust of wind blows Corbyns tie at the cenotaph and he’s one of the founder members of the IRA. Sunak doesn’t even bother his arse at the D Day 80 year remembrance and it’s look the vile lefties using all them deaths to point score.

I haven’t seen it anywhere yet but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Nailed on most of the Tory rags go with something else rather than drag good ole Rishis name through the shite

This D-Day flit is going to cause a right shit storm for The Imp.

That and a selection argument internally about candidates and the recent Yougov poll which put Reform on 18%, same as the Tories.

Gonna be a long week for Sunak.

Have you (or anyone!) used this electoral calculus website, is it reliable? I came across it before. It's predicting a 320 majority for labour. The Tories down to 60-odd seats. Strangely it has reform on zero, I'd have thought Lee Anderson or farage would be in with a shout..

Skipped the big international ceremony, where all the major world leaders are, including Starmer, to come back to Blighty for a photo op campaigning.

Snubbing the war dead, on D-Day?

He’s fucked.

It's hard to believe he's done that. I wonder who's on question time tonight to flag that up - stuff like that on QT will normally run through breakfast TV tomorrow and with this new BBC format, pretty much means it'll hit the 1pm news too.

Are any real names calling him out yet?

Nah mate, he's brown. If they're going to go down, don't be surprised for them to get dirty with him to make sure that doesn't happen again. And if this issue plays into reforms hand, I'd expect the right rags to go all reform for the rest of the campaign.

Farage, Pippa Crerar at The Guardian and Mirror are running with it.

The Reform seat thing is weird, i've seen them as high as 18% and still only on four seats, I assume it is based on previous and then a swing measurement.

The whole reform/ukip poll to seats ratio has always been a bit weird. It seems crazy to have such a share, but so few seats where you could find a majority. But in this one and the Tory share running so low, it's even more surprising in so much you think there'd be some Tories voting like it's a European election as their guys aren't running the country no matter what.

MOST politicians are lying, untrustworthy cunts. Sadly they're lurking in all parties.

They are indeed. It's expected of the Tories. The libs, for all their faults with Clegg and Co were normally fairly honest imo. This Labour Party has imo disgraced itself. It'll be the first election they won't be getting my vote.

The link proved the extent of Israeli zionist influence of within the Labour Party.

Edit, which is one of the reasons I can no longer stomach the party.

It was a joke.

Yeah I know, I was just explaining that link. It's one of the reasons I can't stand the Labour Party. Another is they do not seem to want to address growing inequality and invest in public services. They also appear unperturbed about reducing childhood poverty.
