It probably feels much the same for them now as it did for us in the 90s.

In reality, they're not as bad as some on here make them out to be. 4th to 8th in the league with the odd cup win is probably about right for them at the moment.

They play Dyche football it works for them when they aren't also playing a dyche football type team. City and us played right into their basic fucking hands by leaving them all the space they want to run into. I hope at least Slot adapts his tactics if it's called for, say an opposition is constantly getting chances in a certain spot that he addresses it.

I've got to add that this is recently. United have become better at the sit deep hit on the break football and Fernandes and Garnacho in spite of what many say are vital for them.

I turns out I still hate United more than City. Go figure.

Manchester Utd are arguably our biggest rivals.

Man City are nothing really, just Wigan on PEDs. Their recent success means absolutely zero.

I would be amazed if any Reds wanted Man Utd to win that yesterday. I wanted them to get absolutely hammered & was pretty annoyed when I saw the score last night.

Abso fuckin lutely . I grew up hating them in the 70’s and as a kid I wanted Benfica to beat them in 68.

I've no need to hate a traditionally affable and ineffectual club like Man City.  Their loathsome ownership on the other hand?  Different story.

Besides, United did a lot more damage to us this season than City... as insistent as we are on United being shit.

City are still pretty hateful though.

I agree. I can’t believe there Liverpool supporters saying they rather the mancs won over City.

Don’t get we wrong, I’d likely have wanted City to lose to pretty much any other side in world football yesterday… apart from the mancs.

Does not being arsed about either of the cunts count?

No.

If only for the mancs have 44 major trophies now and we have 46 (doesn’t include Charity Shields, Super Cups or CWC).

Not really fussed about the Play Off result later on.

I’ve 2 trains of thought…

1) Elland Rd is a c.1 mile walk from my house. Southampton is about a 5 hour drive each way. For convenience, clearly Leeds (TLW / TSOP BBQ before the game again…).

2) It’ll be hilarious seeing Leeds get beat.

No idea. Then you get into the realms of shared Charity Shields and I can’t be bothered to work it out.

Its a nightmare round here just them getting to Wembley (you would think they were the first team to ever get to Wembley) will be unbearable if they win.

I'm at pub for "sunday sesh" at 5 might have to rethink it if they win, although they have apparently bought all the Southampton end tickets (Everton levels of dillusion) so should be nobody in might even win the quiz.

Where you based?

It's only the 2nd time they've played there. The previous occasion ended in glorious defeat to Doncaster Rovers in 2008. No matter what happens, Leeds can now say they've played at Wembley as many times in Bradford.

I’d have been in the local this afternoon. The pub is basically at the bottom of my garden.

I’m going nowhere near the place today though. Even though Leeds have apparently taken about eight million fans to Wembley, the place will be packed.

If they win, I’ll have to spend the rest of the day at the other side of my house so I can’t hear their celebrations.

They are loathsome, and  anyone who’s from these parts, who isn’t a Leeds fan, and doesn’t think so, clearly doesn’t leave the house.

I live in Armley for my sins, just up from the prison.

I'm hoping Southampton turn up and hammer them but I'll take ant Suthampton win

I’m in Lower Wortley, just off the ring road. I can see the ground from upstairs.

I wouldn’t be going out in any pubs around Leeds tonight. It’ll be a nightmare either way.

Just looking at Facebook, one of my mates is there and has posted “Hopefully 4th time luck in a final…”. That’s goes back to Villa in 1996! What a set of losers. Imagine being us / me.

My Mum lives Lower Wortley on the Dragons, neither her nor my step dad have any interest in football though.
