But when he's offering nothing, why play him?  Even if he wasn't injured, he's not worth his place atm.  Risking further injury for nothing doesn't make sense.

Probably would have less game time if we could rely on Jones and Elliot was fit

Feels like he's playing the same as he always does

This has got to be a piss take? The Mac we saw from November time ish till March was playing out of his skin, one of the in form midfielders in the league, what we've seen this season has been Fabinho 22/23.

Not seeing the obsession Arne has with him. He’s played about 2 above average games all season and he’s the one player in the squad you wouldn’t want to overplay because his stamina levels is shoddy. Actually did us a favour getting suspended for the derby, he would’ve been eaten alive.

He played really well, and scored, against Real Madrid, played well against Man City.

I thought he was ok against Newcastle as well really. Couple of cracking efforts in the first half, some nice sneaky passing in the second. He is too slow when caught in space though.

Gravenberch was the worst midfielder by far, but that’s his only bad game of the season.

His performance last night wasn't shocking. He struggled first half but no more than Gravenberch or Jones. Their midfield had a peak Klopp vibe about it, with the crowd behind them 3 hard runners snapping into tackles, making the game uncomfortable for the opposition. He got a soft booking and couldn't really bite back after that. Second half he was good.
