Arguably 7 starters out.

Very few squads could cope with that.

No way is that a coincidence.

This has Quansah’s fingerprints all over it.

To be fair, someone fell onto his knee from a height, not much he could do about it.

Yeah, but he's that type of player isn't he who runs into brick walls. His style of play brings those impact injuries into play in a way they don't with other players. Suarez used to be similar style, but he just seemed to bounce up every time. I was always amazed he wasn't always fucked.

Klopp confirms 3 down today.

Jones and Jota obviously, but Nunez is an injury too it seems.

I can't watch that YouTube, but the clip I saw after the game I reckon Nunez is a precaution and more to do with only having one more sub slot left than the severity of the injury. If Nunez goes out and asks to come off, we would have had to make 3 subs in that slot or lose the subs. My prediction is he'll at least be on the bench for Wednesday.

Jota and Jones though I'd be surprised if we saw this side of the international break.

Tsimikas, Gomez, Quansah, Harvey, Gravenberch, Gakpo. Think they'll all start midweek.

That's 3 of the back 4, I dunno if we'll do that in a game we have to win. I can see Gomez and quansah. Kostas gets 30. And I reckon just 1 of grav and elliot. And I think Salah will start, even if he doesn't finish. So for that reason, I would say grav starts, Elliot replaces Salah or one of the mids later on.

That was a great result today, we have to do it all again on Wednesday and these pricks have had points off us already this season. I fucking hate Luton.

I'm always confident at home and as important as the league is we are a game away from a trophy.

If we look at the week it's Luton and a final vs Chelsea. I think we can gamble against Luton even though we hardly have fucking anything to gamble with. I'm hoping Darwin is fit for Wembley so barring any other injuries I'd go with something like the below for Luton.

Kelleher

Gomez

Quansah

Virgil

Tsimikas

Endo

Gravenberch

Macca

Mo

Gakpo

Diaz

I think klopp is fine with Wed-Sunday turn around. Every game is a cup final from here really and the only breathers are maybe the uefa if you get a soft draw, but that is less likely at this point, and mad locations like Qarabag are still in there.  So my gut feel is klopp will go as strong as he can in both game. He'll want to protect konate as he doesn't often play twice a week and I think he might want to protect Bradley as he's a kid and won't want to push him too hard. Nunez might have a slight muscle issue and then from there, he gives everyone a go on Wednesday.

The fa cup match next Wednesday might have a completely different feel to it, especially if we go more than 90 mins on Sunday. Then everyone back for forest.

Is there much hope that Jota is an impact injury where the damage is not to any ligaments/tendons?

Well we or Jota himself don't seem to have much luck in that direction!

FA Cup game you are defo going to the academy. That's a gamble we just have to take. So be it if the boys aren't good enough for Southampton.

They showed a feed of the Brentford tunnel at half time and Diogo was hobbling unsupported at the back of it with a physio trundling after him, so crossing everything it isn't as bad as some are fearing.

That would be a major fucking bonus. I love the lads attitude.

Journalist Dominic King has shared projected injury timelines for three Liverpool players ahead of this week’s fixtures against Luton and Chelsea.

King said: “I believe Jota is going to be out for two months, which could be huge. Nunez a couple of weeks, Jones maybe a week. That’s what I’m led to be the case.”

That's a massive massive blow if true for Sunday.

I felt like we could just about cope with the loss of Jota and Jones, but Nunez is impossible for us to replace.

Nobody in our front 5 is impossible to replace other than Salah. He proved what a fucking machine he is yet again on Saturday. Sunday for example I'm more than happy to go into it with Salah Diaz Gakpo.

Joyce has posted that Curtis and Jota will miss the final and Allison out until after the International break. But Nunez went off as a precaution. Update tomorrow with Klopp's press conference

Sky sports news said earlier that klopp doesn't know who's available for tomorrow as flu has gone round the squad and they won't be able to make a call till tomorrow..I didn't see that reported earlier and wasn't part of the echo's minute by minute of the press conference.
