Roll up for some blue on blue politiporn.

Which cunt do you think WILL win, not who you WANT to win?

Looking forward to seeing how low they are willing to go to be the next cunt to attempt to destroy the country in their's, their friend, their donors and their backers interests.

Go...

I think Tom Somecunt blew it this morning for me, he ain't got the chops.

all he had was 'Clean start this, clean start that...' without any real depth.

Dissapointed as if anyone was going to take it to a ground war it was Tom somecunt, shame.

And a ten year plan to reset the economy. Yeah, right.

Tugendhat seems a bit less cunty than the rest of them, but a cunt nonetheless.

As for the rest of them, I couldn't care less. We're fucked anyway until they're ousted and even then it'll take years, decades even until things get back to the way they were 20 years ago.

Utterly depressing.

what would be worse is a general election right now.  Labour don't yet have the policies the country needs, and they need time to work on a more radical agenda.  The next few years are going to be really difficult - let them be associated with the Tories.  The appetite for change by then will be strong.  Labour hopefully will have by then sorted shit out, and can present a clean break from the turmoil and shite that has happened before.

Agreed.

Plus let's watch and enjoy as the Tories punch the absolute shit out of each other.

I think the policies are there, if they are great is debatable, but they will have them ready to go, they have been on standby for election for a few months.

This policies are 'radical' in comparisson to what we have now, but this will be an election very much fought in the centre, with sound 'lefty' policies hidden in the details.

The social care bill, the green bill, taxation have all been drawn out and floated.

The issue is the Tories are so bereft that they'll just steal them if they land well.

nah, they won't, because they're going to elect someone more overtly right wing than Johnson, who will have to play the hard man.  Labour need better salespeople to be able to push a centre left agenda to everyone, not just to the centrists in their own party.  At the moment, the rather depressingly predictable fight is between the spartists and the centre in the Labour Party itself.  It's the usual People's front of Judea versus the Judean People's Front shite that saps energy and makes those in the country who need to be won over turn away.

I'm not sure mate. We need shut of them before they do even more damage, if indeed that's possible.

All but two of the candidates were part of that cabinet.  Tugendhat was heavy with his 10 year plan and showed little else in his interview this morning and Hunt is running with McVey as his deputy.

No. I want them out and the sooner the better.

Javcunt & cunt were both on Jarg Marr this morning.

I thought Cunt was terrible and thought he blew up his "I'm relatable" moment by saying ester McVey would be his deputy and his "John Prescott". But he wasn't tripped up by Raworth.

Javcunt got his point across much better than Cunt, but he was so easily tripped up Raworth it was quite funny. Watching the shit he was coming out with defending the idea he wanted to increase NHS spending as health secretary but he's going to slash it as PM was great fun.

So I would say some how Javcunt lost that battle despite scoring some early goals and Cunt didn't manage a shot on goal all game, the own goals through made it a comfortable win for Cunt.

I dunno if Tories will see it that way though.

Right wing is fine as Johnson was rudderless ideologically, so Labour/Dems can mop up the centre right/centre ground whilst building socially fair policies which appeal broadly across the spectrum. Labour will set our a 'fair' society which looks at bridging the divided between working and white collar classes.

They are not perfect, and they are not what 'we' want in an ideal world, but the policies are fixed towards growth, investment and opportunity and they are a good middle ground before a more focused attempt to fix the absolute horror show of teh past twelve years.

They are good, they are not great, but should get better and I'd take that in a heartbeat.

The rabble won't tune in as Johnson spoke to them, they have no allegience to Mordaunt or Javid, that's why they're all falling over theselves to claim they can campaign.

The Tories are fucked and they know it and they are in a real crisis as they hitched their apple cart to Johnson and they have no real idea about who they were before.

I reckon it'll be Zahawi. He makes all the right noises to rally support from the right of the party, who'll move on from Europe to a general culture war against supposed "wokeism".

The optics of it coming from a person of colour whose family escaped Iraq will help pander to those thinking he represents cultural inclusivity, which plays well to the Tory heartlands.

It'll match up well against a pasty faced Sir who tries to convince voters he's symbolic of change.

Might have changed my view on Morcunt being a likely choice as she says TWAW and TMAM (see "transgender" thread).

I think this is going to be one of the attack lines on Labour heading into a GE which would be less effective (should be impossible in theory) with Morcunt at the helm.

Don't think the Tories would be daft enough to put someone BAME in charge as that will alienate a big chunk of their voter base.

I actually think Hunt is a dark horse as he's been so far uninvolved in any of the most recent scandals.

There's going to be some serious mud slinging and smear going on through this.
