Hard to be cynical about that. A generation of young girls will grow up with the cherished memory of having seen their idols in the national team win a major tournament. Warms the heart.

And it further cements Phil Neville's status as a failure, who stole a job in the women's game so he could cosplay as a manager, the slack-jawed fraud.

Turnover is commonly used in basketball, when the opposition run forward with the ball after losing possession.

Maybe they're actually watching basketball?

They run forward with the ball after losing it? Sounds a bit woke to me

As a Liverpool fan this gets my vote. Saves our players from picking up meaningless injuries trying to placate a bunch of inbred, flag-shagging, racist doffers.

Spot on - these beauts and the millions like them all over the country are a massive part of the reason so many of us feel like we do about their shithouse monarchy, country, government and football team.

I boo that fucking dirge and everything it represents loudly and with a fucking passion.

Those pictures are a bit disingenuous, as they're taking a shot from behind to make it look like that was when the contact was made. Remember the supposed Van Dijk handball, where it rolls up off his chest?

It definitely hit her arm, but at shoulder/shirt sleeve level. You can't say definitively that it touched her lower arm or hand, so they played on.

The logic is impeccable: fans who are really antipathetic to British/English patriotism are going to be hurt by having their players dropped by England. Obviously.

Looks like a certain Arsenal midfielder has been outed as the player accused of rape earlier in the summer after his victim decided to speak out.

Sounds like she's spoken out because he's likely to get off on a technicality because of a legislation change relating to where the offence occured.

How can we say he did it without saying he did it.

Mikel Arteta had Arsenal training with YNWA in the background to help them prepare for the game against us.

He’s got them training along to Hotel California this week.

Seriously, what a bum. He also looks like a PS3 character in that video.
