Been saying for ages that they should bin that biannual sale off and go back to the old way of releasing the tickets 4-6 weeks before the match.

 

At least that way you stand a decent chance, can spread out paying for the games you want instead of one big lump sum and the tickets aren't hoovered up by bots with memberships.

Just watching big match revisited on itv 4....

 

There was a game from late 70's Orient v Chelsea - a wall collapsed and luckily nobody was seriously hurt but as can imagine it was an incident that caused some delay to game and a handful of people were hurt....

 

After game Brian Moore interviews the Orient chairman about it and it is a quite incredible interview which sums up perfectly the attitude of the day towards football supporters and of course the whole thing is one of many precursors to the loss of 97 lives at Hillsborough - he blames the fans, he comes out with outrageous slurs and accepts absolutely no responsibility for fact his ground is a dangerous shithole - even blaming the weather at one point....

 

Don't know if anyone else saw it but fucking hell.

Our whole approach to ticketing from how we structure it to the technology used is garbage.
