West Ham were pathetic yesterday, it just seems to me that the majority of teams down tools when they play City and give it fucking everything when they face us it’s so strange.

We enjoy plenty of very easy league games too. Did Manchester United - our so-called arch rivals - give everything when we beat them 9-0 over the two fixtures last season?

Our history is definitely an issue here though. We're a massive club, one of the biggest in the world. Despite the money and the rest of it, fans of other clubs don't look at Manchester City in the way they look at us. They exist in a vacuum. They're an aberration. A rivalry/ill-feeling/dislike/hatred hasn't built up between them and others. Even Manchester United are indifferent about them. We've won six European Cups. Beating us is still a bigger feather in the caps of other clubs.

Even Nottingham Forest have a history with us and were briefly domestic and European rivals. For their fans, our two games with them will be bigger events than those with City's (not least because there'll be an atmosphere at Anfield).

Yeah the City Ground will be feral when we go there.

When the cheats go it won't be anything like the same.

In their last 10 games last season only 2 teams took points out of them - us and West Ham. West Ham opened the big door for us to grab the title with both hands with just 2 games to go only for us to fuck it up against Spurs.

So lets get our house in order first eh?

Nope, we dropped points first. City would have found a way to beat West Ham if the title depended on it, just like they do every time it matters most.

City's squad is tiny. They currently have 5 defenders, Ake and Laporte are as injury prone as anything we have. They will buy a left back to bump that up.

They have 8 midfielders and 3 forwards listed on their website. De Bruyne and Halaand pick up more than their fair share of injuries and Phillips makes Ox look fit.

Bernardo Silva may yet leave. They will replace him but brilliant players that are as durable as him and Sterling aren't easy to find.

It looks to me as if Pep is chasing recognition again, trying for records with a paper thin squad. It isn't the season for that.

Ryan Giggs threw ex out of hotel room naked, court told https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-62475633

Ryan Giggs. Soon to be running down a different kind of wing?

If the allegations are true especially him head-butting her and hitting her sister then the cunt needs to go down. Examples need to be made of some of these horrible twats.

For fucks sake I totally forgot about Spurs. What a major fuck up that was. It was another game where we needed a midfielder with some kind of creative spark.

Wonder if Everton will get invited or become outraged when they don't?

If ever a game was crying out for an Origi moment, this was it. I was mystified when he didn't come on.

I reckon he’s going to get away with it, she’s not coming across well in the cross examination at all.

Yeah, I've been reading the reports over lunch.  Looks like the scum bag may get away with it.
