They'll protest the owners before we play them, right as they sign a world class player for 70m and 400k per week. Gonna be sick.

All the protest talk has suddenly gone quiet now they are bidding for players,  Liverpool have their new striker missing and the midfield looks shite.

How much has Gary Neville cost that football club? His rants have led to panic time and time again. They are going to pay Madrid twice what Bayern paid us for a player of the same age. I reckon Dortmund made an extra 20m from them because Neville demanded a right sided attacker. Ronaldo probably wouldn't be there without his intervention. In fairness to Neville he can't claim all the glory, Rio and others have helped too. Its a beautiful site.

Don't forget the impact Fergie has had since he 'retired'.
Directly involved in getting Ronaldo back so he didn't go to City.  Named his replacement in 2013 to ensure his own legacy wasn't tarnished, never speaks (ill) of the Glazers, sits in the stands every game looking down on the current manager casting judgement.

He should walk away from the club and enjoy what time he has left.  Take up golf, bowling, knitting even but no, he hangs around like a spectre of better times putting unneeded pressure on the current incumbent offering sage advise and interfering where no longer needed.

Everyone has a go at Liverpool for banning Shankly from Melwood saying it was scummy to treat him the way they did.

However, he told everyone he wanted to leave, probably thought he made a massive mistake but kept turning up at training and taking over even though he didn't work there. It undermined Bob Paisley but he was probably too nice and respectful to him to tell him to stop it.

If the club had let him carry on we might not have been as successful as we were under Paisley.

Self proclaimed "biggest club in the world"

Being 11 CL titles behind Real Madrid says otherwise.

Problem with that is people are feeding the account and doing exactly what they want, they don't care that they're saying things like that or that people are replying as a 'gotcha', they just care that they're getting the engagement and notoriety.

The money Utd spend is unbelievable. Imagine if their fan base had to contend with FSG. Their heads would collectively explode

Too true, the united supporters trust was stating the other day that any prospective billionaire owner should not only buy the club outright but should then be obligated to immediately spend heavily on the squad and stadium. What a bargain.

Casemiro is quality but £60+ million for a 30 year old who at his best sits in front of the back four doesn't appear to make much sense when they've been all about pressing under the new manager. They've no idea how to fit these players into a system. It's just buy the biggest name players they can.

Give it a week or two and they'll be complaining about the lack of spending.
