Someone’s Having a Real Laugh - How Long Until They ‘Bin Bag’ Ten Hag?

The De Jong thing is already an irredeemable shitshow for them. He clearly doesn't want to go there. Best case scenario for them at this stage is probably that they miss out.

The Barcelona wage thing hasn't helped (another nest of vipers there) but surely they should have ensured that he really wanted to play with them regardless?

Still, at least they've Ronaldo there to rally the troops and get everyone rowing in behind the new manager in a harmonious way.

Best case scenario is they somehow force the move through - he has a slow start and their fanbase turns on him.

Best case scenario for us, definitely. A sulking 'marquee' signing with no pre-season.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel these days. Any option they take is invariably the wrong one.

Last season I had mancs telling me Mane was past it and we've let our front 3 grow old now we're gonna be shit because Manes gone. This is from the same people.

Ah but that was before Mane played quite well for 10 games

Let slip a 2-0 lead v Villa.

Gives us all hope they won’t win the quadruple this season…

Got a feeling those rats could be involved in a fair few high scoring games this season.

Think they'll hand out a few dickings, be on the end of a few and see a sprinkling of 3-3's, 4-2's those sort of rollercoaster games.

They have reasonable firepower, they are poor at back and this new manager seems to favour an open game.

Ultimately just hope they miss out on top 4 again...which with Tottenham and Arsenal looking like they will be stronger is IMO likely.

I could see them winning the Europa league this season. That is probably the easiest way back in to the Champions league for them.

Ropey league and Carabao cup I reckon. Had a bet with my mates wife (who is a Manc) who isn’t convinced.

United are favourites and Arsenal are second favourites.

English clubs should be winning that competition every year when you compare the difference between the 5th and 6th Premier league teams to the European equivalents.

The fact that it was a Frankfurt vs Rangers final last season shows how low quality it is.

Can anyone explain the reasoning behind the idea of allowing Ronaldo leave on loan, but only if he triggers the one year contract extension option, so that he comes back next year, when he'll be 38 and presumably still wanting to leave?

He wants to play CL. They assume they'll be back in it by then.

Deluded pricks.

Seems like a mad situation instead of having full focus on the pre season and getting ready to start the league they've allowed a 37 year old player who's past his best to turn the pre season into a circus.

Ronaldo has turned up to training with his agent - Fergie has turned up as well. Fucking joke. (Long may it last)

Guessing Fergie is there to persuade Ronaldo to stay & see his contract out...
Make it so.
