Yup. He comes with a pre-determined mindset and excuses. Couple of years ago his excuse after City loss was that Guardiola's team make opponent players very tired which was why United players didn't have the legs to stop the first goal and stuck to the reason even when Souness and Keane pointed out the first goal was scored at 51 mins, 6 mins after HT !!

He completely overlooks that the mancs have spent over a billion since Ferguson's departure and £400 million propping up his mate Ole. He's still complaining about a lack of spending. The class of 92 were cheerleading each of those big name expensive duds.

 

Finances are probably quite tight over there now after pissing so much money away on fees and wages coming out of a pandemic whilst not challenging for the title in a decade and the CL for almost 15 years. Revenues aren't quite what they were.
