That is the definition of mental. Missing from 20 yards for the national team provokes that comment.

No, 2 seasons of missing sitters, no signs of improvement and then fighting with opposition supporters, provokes that comment.

Either way, those misses were still poor. He didn’t even hit the target. It’s the same over and over.

I didn’t look at either of those shots from Darwin and think he’s missed 2 sitters tbh. Both from the edge of the box. Narrative around him as usual and from our own fans as well. Disappointing

I’ve just re-watched and neither of those are sitters? Especially deserving of the level of responses. First was a great run first touch and unlucky, second one is 23 yards out?!

It’s like trying to reason with a brexit or reform voter

Yep. It’s boring the shit he gets.

Good on him, into them cunts Darwin. Protect your family and your team-mates.

Jesus Christ, that whole game experience was a fucking train wreck. I enjoy the fella, I genuinely do. But I really can't be arsed with another season of this same conversation about him. It's not going to change.

Agree.

How many 25 year olds suddenly refine their game significantly?

My opinion has always been that he's Origi on steroids. He's a wildcard that could score a goal out of nothing, but it just as likely to miss an open goal.

Fighting with opposition supporters?! Good on him for that, defending his own family.

At least now we know what Harvey was on about when asked who would survive a zombie apocolypse.

"Darwin Nunez, to be honest, just because he's crazy. You know he'd just try and fight everyone!"

He's piling in after it’s mostly calmed down. I appreciate him protecting his family once the red mist has set in, he’s a public figure, get his family out the way. He can’t be leaping like a gazelle up into the stands to fight people and running about throwing chairs.

Hes going to get a hefty ban for this. The ban after Suarez bite in 2014 delayed him playing at Barca.

Oh you were there? You don’t know that you’re chatting nonsense as usual. I admire his actions.

For me, he needs to get his punches off quicker there. His opponent will have made a bigger impression on the judges there in that round.

He seemed to duck out the way of the punch that was thrown at him, great reflexes Darwin lad! Liking the stance he takes up too, bobbing and weaving.

I would be really surprised if we see him on the pitch in 2024 at all after that.

What a brainless idiot?

If you protect your family you get them onto the pitch, you dont go wading in like some lowlife hooligan.

Reminded me of this.
