Exactly. If you haven't bothered to read the rules of your profession, you aren't bothering with translate apps translating people telling you, that you don't know the rules of your profession.

DO FUCK OFF.

I still kind of want him to stay but the martyrdom of this guy by some of our fans might make me flip.

I mean, he deleted his insta posts about LFC? The humanity! The abuse he must have had!

A new manager might work wonders for Darwin. I love the bones off Jurgen but his niceness was to the detriment of Darwin. He doesn't like snide, cheating, dark arts etc,  after the Anderson head butt he set about taking the Uruguayanness out of Darwin. He neutered the poor chap, he's going around helping players up after he's knocked them over, we need to get some Simeone attitude into his veins.

im fairly sure they have social media managers and dont sit there scrolling through every post.

They must deserve a raise then, doing the scrolling for them and then passing on enough of the bad ones to send the player into such a rage he wants to leave. Good job!

I still wouldn't sell. Got at least another year.

I ain't verified it because I'm bone idle and don't care enough but I heard on a podcast he has 32 goal contributions this season I've no idea how they formulate these things and Manes highest in a season for us was 30.

The guy just needs to start burying more of his chances.

His ability to get into goalscoring positions is world class but his finishing is shite.

The result is that his xG stuff is off the charts as really that's a measurement of his movement and the creativity of his team mates.

How you over-perform or under-perform against xG is the measurement of how good your finishing is. He under-performs it massively and shows no sign at all that he can improve that side of his game so he'll probably keep under-performing it.

In the league he's been outscored by Chris Wood at Forest and Mateta at Palace who've had far less chances in defensive teams. Neither of those are great players but they're both better finishers than Darwin.

If we replaced him with a top player who combined movement and finishing (easier said than done) we'd be more likely to get a better return from them than persisting with the gamble on whether he'll suddenly improve.

I have been one of his biggest supporters since I seen him play against us however he absolutely needs to improve in front of goal.

I would like to see what the new manager thinks and believe, as with all the first team players, they should all get a fresh slate for at least the first half of next season.

Wouldn't give as toss if he left this summer. Far better strikers out there.

Name two?

I also wouldn't mind seeing him leave by the way. But I am struggling to think who could replace him

Jota and Gakpo for 2 and that's before we look outside.

Gakpo has had a couple of decent games. He isn’t all of a sudden better than Nunez. Jota is made of poppadom.

Dominic Solanke is probably a better striker at this stage.

Bowen is better than Solanke but older.

Neither are world beaters and would probably be prohibitively expensive as they’re English, but it shows the level he’s at. There are surely cheaper, better options than these outside England.

I really don’t buy the ‘all he needs to do is start scoring’ stuff as though it’s an inevitability that it’ll click. He’s shown consistently that that’s where his game really falls down.

No doubt he’s scoring from every angle in training, but at his age and on the evidence so far it’s hard to see him developing the mentality of Suarez, Torres, Salah or Mane to be able to do it when the pressure’s on.

No probably about it.

Isak is better as well, Ollie Watkins is better. Nic Jackson is widely ridiculed and I'm not sure he's any worse than Darwin. Mateta has outscored him, as has Kai Havertz, as has Hwang.

If you were in charge of transfers for a Champions League club in a big league, and you were looking for a striker this summer, would you be looking at Darwin? Or would you be looking at lads like Loic Openda, Marcus Thuram, Victor Boniface, Dusan Vlahovic? You'd probably look at someone like Folarin Balogun before you looked at Darwin.

Solanke is a funny one. He was eeirly similar to Nunez when he was playing for us.

Got plenty of chances, but couldn't finish his dinner.

He's had a super season this year though, I'll give him that

Solanke is 26 turning 27 this year. Who knows what Darwin will be at 27. I dont think he will be this prolific forward but at his age and under a long contract with a new manager coming in, its worth seeing how he does. He will contribute more than Jota at least who can't stay fit for 5 minutes and I can't see that improving as he gets older.
