I'd sell him in the summer and put the money towards Harry Kane. He'd jump at the chance to come back to the prem IMO and he'd be the absolute goal machine we'd need.

Great player but he's 31 and has a long history with ankle injuries. If your going to spend 100ml on a striker and probably 300k a week someone like Osimhen is 5 years younger,Isak is 6 years younger

Someone put this together and while it's not a perfect comparison it's really what he should be doing

I suppose the argument against rounding the keeper is he can't hit a barn door.

Surely even his biggest supporters are starting to realise he's not good enough.

He’s playing shite at the moment but Mo and Diaz are as bad if not worse.

Mo is but he's been one of our best ever players.

Nunez doesn't even have a pound in the same bank. He's nowhere near good enough.

Of course Mo has been brilliant, but you mustn’t be watching this game or a many of the last few either as he has been beyond bad. Nunez has been shite but he’s not alone in that, yet he gets all the shit thrown at him. He at least has a go.

I'm not defending Salah. He's been woeful and probably time for us to cash in.

Nunez has been a massive flop and persevering with him beyond this season now is pointless

Luton.

He was getting bailed out results wise during previous misses but Luton was the one where the luck ran out.

He'll put one away and go on a run before long but the inconsistency means we're always a miss away from another spell like this.

Well, it’s not up to me of course but I’d keep Nunez. We’ll see what a new manager thinks soon enough.

Well if he has any hopes of doing well he simply can't rely on Nunez.

I've lost faith, he's never going to put it together unfortunately. He's a handy weapon to have, but he'll never be a consistent big team forward.

You know, I think you could make a 200 page novel by cobbling together the random shite I've said in this thread. The concerns, attempts at positivity, theories on why his finishing is that bad. Ultimately, it's inexplicable that he is that bad at putting the ball in the net.

If Real Madrid had signed him and Diaz, they'd both be out the door, but the way we operate, they'll both be here and we'll have to hope the "luck" turns, or whatever.

I could maybe cobble together a two-page pamphlet.

Largely because I'm terrified of being negged by Bjornebye.
