Yep. First time any country had won away to Brazil in WC qualifiers apparently.

Really? I heard something like that and assumed it was just at the maracana  or something..That sounds mental.

They're struggling to qualify too aren't they?

We need to be better with our service into him, he was getting dragged by that twat Neville for struggling to get a poor pass out and get a shot away with three defenders in front of him. Meanwhile Haaland gets a neat pass into space and scores and the snidey rat fuck is going "that's what you need to do, noonehz"

Bellend.

Another theory doing the rounds is Nunez said ' did you like that ', as he's seen pointing to the goal where Trent scored in reference to when the baldy twat went shaking everyone's hands and Tsimikas's last year when city scored. If it is that then its genius by Nunez, really wound the baldy twat up."This was revenge for shaking hands with Arthur and Tsimikas last season. Nunez never forgets."

Despite absolutely everything and the fun of Saturday, I really don't know where I stand with him yet.

I will say that not withstanding the fact I do want to see more, every successful side in history has had a bit of a nark in the team.

For United see Keane

For Arsenal see Viera

For City see Silva

For Chelsea see absolutely all of the pricks.

I don't think he is a nark to be honest, seems like a nice, quiet lad. Hardly ever booked as I can remember,  not snide or dirty. He's just defending the troops against what was probably some more bitchlike behaviour from Gauardiola, who's got major form for being a wum.

Yeah - Nark might be too far. Certainly needly.

Is the 'look at these striker who all rate him' shield starting to ebb away?

Fowler.

Quote

"How long do you give him? He arrived at Anfield almost 18 months ago now, and yet we are still talking about this potential, this ‘exciting rawness’. But you can’t go through your entire career being raw, can you?

"I do feel sympathy for Nunez, because he arrived at Liverpool at the same time Haaland came into the Premier League, and patently, the difference is massive, even if the City striker cost less, and their experience level was strikingly similar."

"Nunez was in a similar position [to the one Haaland scored from] with the defence retreating in front of him, and that same space opened up in front of him. But there was no touch to open up a good shooting angle. Instead he was waiting for something to happen in front of him.

"You could say he perhaps looked as though he didn’t have the confidence to shoot, but he scored twice for Uruguay only four days ago! He also scored a massive goal against Argentina a week before. So maybe it’s not confidence, belief or whatever. Maybe it’s who he is as a striker."

He's certainly not as bad as his worst critics say but neither are the excuses or his praise rarely worth what his fan boys say.

For all the winning points against Newcastle there's games like Luton when he costs you similar points. He was poor yesterday even if the ' chances' he had not even half chances.

His touch and decision making are awful for a 80ml pound player. He doesn't seem to be improving on them important aspects

At the same time I don't think playing with Diaz or Jota suits him at all. Playing with more traditional wide players probably would. If Trent a d Robbo where still the wingback that played a few years ago the service would be better
