Jurgen getting the excuses in early before he juices Nunez up with his special cocktail of PEDs and inhalers.

Better than massive lungs and blisters ready to explode.

It's early but it seems quite obvious what the plan will be with him; Lots of long balls and direct service, lots of looking for him in transition. It will probably look pretty agricultural at times.

Did we just sign Tony Cascarino?

You joke, but you know, we've often been pretty direct under Klopp, even with Firmino up top and with the wingers making diagonal runs. It was probably a matter of time until we actually got a centre forward with more size and mobility.

I think lots of long balls would be quite a change in approach. I’d be surprised if he changed it so dramatically. It’s more likely (Nunez offers)something a bit different depending on the opposition/ if we’re having one of those days etc

Are all these negative comments on the basis of our pre-season friendly? Noticeably alot more of them since then

The amount of coverage that game has received overall has been absurd.

I understand that it's between two high-profile rivals, but it's taking the piss how much some are reacting to it.

I don't see the tactics changing too much but I will be interested seeing how he gets on against City particularly. Not sure how much Diaz and Laporte will like playing against a quick physical striker.

Apart from his miss was pretty excited by his debut and movement. Clearly you don't want players missing sitters but to be honest seen loads of players over the years not even be in the right position to miss them.
