That film Narc that he is in with Jason Patric is one of the grimmest films ever. Good performances but films about smackheads and corrupt police officers aren't very cheerful.

Goodfellas and Field Of Dreams both comfortably make my top ten favourite films. He was in both. 
 

Henry Hill and Shoeless Joe Jackson. He made them both shine bright on the big screen.

There’s not many actors who can say they’ve made a role as iconic as he played Henry Hill.
