I'm actually alright with what went down on Sunday, totally totally expected City to come back and win when it was 2-0 to Villa.  So although there's a sense of "if only", at no point did I particularly get my hopes up.  But, City's cheating repeatedly denying us league titles is really starting to piss me off but only when I stop and think about it, so if I listen to this podcast am I likely to go from a place of relative calm to enraged?

Yeah probably. There's a fair bit of that in it.

Nah, not listening to this one.  The wound is still fresh from getting so close.  I just wish City had scored early and shut their game down in the first half and then I wouldn't have cared as much.  Hearing people rant against things will just put me in a bad humour again.

 

Times like this I wish you could break the podcast into two - match report & upcoming match preview - so I can just listen to the CL Final preview.  Anyone care to tell me at what minute the review starts so I can just fast forward to that?

 

EDIT - "Fast forward to that" Christ, is it on VHS or Betamax?

I don't normally watch Liverpool on the box, but my son was a bit put out that I wasn't there to celebrate the FA Cup-winning penalty against Chelsea - as it happens, I was present for the League Cup-winning penalty against Chelsea and he didn't react; they grow up so quickly - so I thought it was time to stop being so silly and go through the turmoil. It was definitely for the best that I did as seeing the cheats go from 0-2 to 3-2 Flashscore-style would have been too much to bear. With respect to the podcast, I saw Conor Coady lift his teammate back onto the pitch in order to stop play and thought this was going to be grist to the Usher mill, and you didn't let me down. Kudos.

It was a shame because your predictions up to that point where spot on, you called Spurs not selling Kane, Grealish not being a City player, Chelsea not being anywhere near City or ourselves and you stepped in and reminded everyone how brilliant we are. Dan and Jules had us in third.

 

I'm going to give you an out here. Divock was way ahead of you last season, while you constantly refer to it not being real he was doing that live. He just refused to participate in a fake season and you didn't factor that in.
