There's some weird narratives around this game. It feels like our fans and English pundits mostly think we're too good for them, and then Real Madrid fans and Spanish pundits mostly think they'll beat us. Someone's going to be pretty wrong. Don't feel like there's much nuance in the pre-match analysis of this game, from both sides.

Draw and penalties is the logical conclusion

I reckon this one is done in 90.

Could go either way like of course, but feel it will be done in 90.....Got this feeling we are due one of our 20/30 minute blitz periods where we win game.

Agree with that, French media seem to believe Réal can’t loose that game, they have the momentum and Benzema est touché par la grâce. Can’t stand the current hype about Benzema, it’s fucking appaling.

The bias isn't too surprising, I guess. Real have a recent deep French connection and we don't really.

I haven't really been listening recently, are all the French pundits turning into Fred Hermel's? haha.

No, They are not, a good paper on L’Equipe this morning about SOS, RTK, Anfield atmosphere, the Klopp effect ….

Grégoire Margotton as I already said is a big Red, he used to be work for Canal + and now he’s doing The French National team with Lizzarazzu Dave Appadoo who’s working for France Football and a pundit for L’Equipe.TV is also a red.

I would say it’s half / half but theres the French factor with all the lads playing for Madrid.
