Absolutely buzzing tonight, took myself,  my son and daughter today.

We we’re on The Strand from about 6, atmosphere was brilliant everyone in great spirits. Footballs were flying around the place.

I was proper flat last night, slept like shit and nearly didn’t go. If it had been up to my lad we wouldn’t but at lunch I thought fuck this, drink it in, we’ve won two cups, we celebrate every trophy, and who knows what and when is next.

Wasnt sure what the players would be like but they looked to be having a whale of a time as they went past and the fireworks were going off.

up the unbearable fuckin reds

Tip of the hat to the likes of the Council, the plod, Merseyrail and everyone who helped this to go off without a hitch. The contrast with Paris is stunning.

Is fucking right Liverpool. I was like @Chris I worried that it might be a damp Squibb whatever the term is. As soon as I walked up and saw loads walking the same way I was pissed off with myself. My own selfish annoyance at the result clouded my mind. This city these fans this club. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Is fucking right Liverpool

Already can’t wait for next season

Can't believe I almost talked myself out of going to this.

Today was a big day, one of those seemingly minor ones that foreshadow a much bigger event yet to come.

At face value it could have been us just applauding a couple of domestic trophies and showing appreciation for a good effort in the other two. But the way we went about it was more of a rallying war cry to show that we aren't ever truly defeated.

Next season is going to be wild.

I'm so glad we could do this.

Imagine how absolutely devastated they were last night, feeling like they'd let everyone down. Waking up in the morning knowing the long journey they'd have to make back, at best expecting a solemn applause but instead getting over half a million crazy reds giving them the huge thank you they deserve for taking us on this journey.

Great work to all who contributed to making this what it was. It did a lot for more than just those present, I can assure you.

This is spot-on. That horrible feeling from Saturday night would have lasted all summer and overshadowed the start of next season if we hadn't done this. Instead, it's going to be bouncing again.

Makes you proud to be a red.

It does mate. Got a few messages from Mancs trying to take the piss. I reminded them they have gone 10 years without a trophy , gone through 5 managers and are playing Thursday nights in next seasons Euro 2nd division so it would be better that they stfu. Result !!

Funnily enough I've not heard anything from Manc friends and Neighbours. Sly dig about fans booing the anthem to which I replied when your lot stop singing about Hillsborough to which he got awful huffy about very quickly.
