Gomez injury looked relatively mild by his bad luck standards. He’s done fine in that unnatural right back position. Wouldn’t be moving him on in the summer, and why would he want to go himself?

Agree on Konate. Another great signing. Our transfer windows from now on are about freshening up an already brilliant, young squad. Midfielder next, please.

What a team. Just when I think I couldn’t love them anymore the fringe players come in and perform like that from going a goal down.

Brilliant!
I hope Pep is getting into his own head and melting his brain.

Curtis needs to practice shooting. Really practice. As part of his regular training. He's far too lax. But his talent makes it vital he doesn't waste it.

True mate. I think he could become a superstar if everything could come together for him. He's so good on the ball.

Taking Bobby off made that a lot nervier than it had to be in the end. Ball just wasn't sticking to any of our forwards once he came off. Konate, Matip, and Tsimikas bailing us out a few times from some late nonsense. Other than the last 10 minutes or so it was actually a really composed performance from what I saw, though I missed the first 15 and their goal.

It goes to the final day which is all we could've asked for really. Let's do our job against wolves and see what happens.

I think they could nic something on Sunday (I could also be very wrong)

It's unlikely, but the fact that City have to go to the last day is enough for me. Would be fucking hilarious if they threw it away. Preferably conceding the type of deflected goal or dubious penalty they've profited from this (and every) season.

We won't win it though, lets be honest. Villa are absolutely shite. Even if they played with 11 defenders City would win.

However, if you'd told me in Jan that on the 17th of May we'd have 2 trophies in the bag, a chance to win the league last day & a CL final to play against Madrid I'd be looking for some of that weed you were smoking.

Atkinson is a fucking cheat and always has been. Need his bank account and hard drive investigated.

Milner was my MOTM. Played out of his skin tonight.

Gomez was just awful.

Jones has confidence issues at the moment. He has lost the swagger he initially had.

Minamino deserves more time. He offers more link up play than Jota.

Tsimikas was excellent too alongside Konaté and Matip.

Good win in fairness.
