Klopp usually resists changing both left and right backs, but both regulars clearly need changing. It's very awkward - normally we could change a lot but bring on the usual first teamers if needed, but they're probably all in the red zone and risk tweaking something. Maybe a final appearance from the Ox against his old club? Origi deffo.

Is it wrong that I'm not that arsed. I'd given up on the league a while ago and I don't think Villa lay a glove on city. Paris has my eyes and heart.

Yes, never give up. We are potentially a Villa sneaking a draw away with City from winning the league. Who knows, maybe Villa will score two mad ones in the last 90 seconds like Real Madrid did.

Line up out.

It looks like Klopp thinks that City dropping points against Villa is unlikely…

More like the players will have accumulated a significant amount of fatigue to this point, plus even a minor injury now can mean missing Paris.

This is one last push from the fringe players who, to date, have done a fantastic job this season.

This fixture turnaround and the obvious need to rotate as has does bring into focus just how nigh on impossible winning all 4 is.

Imagine if this was a game away v a top side (not saying this will be easy or writing them off but you know what i mean) we'd still have to rotate as have after what happened Saturday and be in for a very, very tough night or take massive risks with players fitness (still could be very tough tonight of course)

We have done unbelievably well to take our bid for all 4 down to the last 3 possible games - let's hope we can say last 2 after tonight.

Surprised to see Elliott and Minamino who have not been anywhere near it in recent weeks - but rest is as expected.

At least Minamino knows them as former teammates - he might have the odd weakness to exploit.

I get that, I do, but I'd still rather win and take it to the final game.

I'd hate if we dropped points by not applying ourselves properly and be left with that big 'what if' in the highly unlikely event of Villa doing something.
