Yea they’re so afraid of misplacing the pass that they slow it down and fuck it up anyway.

Or end up cliping a cross into a well defended penalty area in the end.

Soft as shite. Only Thiago willing to put a foot in. Is Henderson under strict instruction not to tackle anyone?

He must be - two of their best changes came from Henderson's passive approach.  One of which he gets nutmegged from a non-tackling position rather than crowding the player out.

We seemed to put everything into that first 20. We let them back into it then. They're getting in behind our midfield and up to lukaku to easily. They've also sat back and are trying to hit us on the break since that 20.

Need to do much better at that.

Diaz is going to be brilliant, but his end product needs to improve a bit. I remember Suarez improving a lot in that regard with us. Mo’s finishing improved a lot too.

A decent half of football.

We needed to score in the first 20 mintues when they were more open. Now they have gone to a more coherent block its going to be hard.

Thiago made a few mistakes that were disappointing from such an experienced pro.

Alisson magnificient as usual.

Another game, another sitting deep, anti football time wasting diving bunch of gobshites. Imagine paying to watch that.

Most of their cunt fans are super wealthy so don't care.

He never commits to a challenge, he always tries to get as tight as he can and nick it. Don't know if that's a coaching thing with him but it's certainly very different to how Fabinho plays the holding role.

Thiago has won more ball than Keita and Henderson - and has been our most creative player.  Salah going off would normally be a huge blow, but there was no sign he was going to do anything in this game.  Still woefully short of his best form.

Jota and Mane will score in this game.

That's why we bought him.

Think we would be better having Trent out wide to stretch them. Great start but it could go either way now.

He never nicks it, the opposition player just does exactly what he wants to do.  It's so fucking depressing to watch.

Jota on the right isn’t working, but Mané through the middle has been too good of late.

We largely controlled that half, Mo going off is shit but more so based on how they have to play him than his current form. We need to be more decisive in the final 3rd for me and clean it up at the back as when they’ve gotten at us they’ve had great chances.

I think Trent’s getting pulled too central, not sure if it’s by design but it’s not going to work with Jota out wide, we need him crossing now and obviously defensively it puts him in a bad spot when we lose possession.

Robertson jogging back after losing possession has to stop.

Get the ball early to Diaz, he scares the crap out of them.

Stop giving the ball away.

Tighten up our right hand side.
