Tory MP and former Culture Secretary Karen Bradley said: 'It is utterly unacceptable and disgraceful that fans booed Prince William. I would urge the FA to take all necessary action and pursue those responsible.'

 

I may be a bit slow here but what is the 'necessary action' the FA can take for booing?

Charges under section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986? 
 

Intentional harassment, alarm or distress.

 

(1)A person is guilty of an offence if, with intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, he—

 

(a)uses threatening, aboooooooosive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or

 

(b)displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, aboooooooosive or insulting,

 

thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress.
