I live in Glossop an actual town of manc fuckers and was aske to leave the pub because the twats  who all started on me when Sadie missed the penalty got upset when I turned to celebrate Timmy scoring. Fuck them all the dances withwools fuckers. Pissed, happy, not banned from the pub, just asked to leave haha haM you mighty red men!

Thought we were poor in final third and wasted so much promising play - a blistering start had to yield a goal and if it had we would have battered them....but it didn't and you knew we were in for a long day...

 

Thought they were just so ugly, ugly and negative.

 

When we had ball we tried to play quickly....When our keeper for example had it he would look to get us moving quickly - their keeper was wasting time/doing a bottom of league keeper away at Anfield impression.

 

They were afraid and scared to play quickly and just wanted to sit in shape waiting for counters when we lost ball...

 

They are a really cowardly side considering the quality they have and enormous money spent.

 

Yes they are hard to play against, but it is ugly.

They play like Burnley, difference is they have spent hundreds of millions.

 

We always find it hard to break them down, but seriously only one team really tried to win that football match....

 

Klopp has now won the lot with us in just 6 years. ... just superb

 

It's boss being us.....it really is.

 

Anyone know about VVD/Salah?

 

VVD going off at 90 mins was a big shock....

 

Fucking need them for Paris!

The game ebbed and flowed so much that it was pretty entertaining from a neutral perspective. Forfans of the two teams, I imagine it was nerve-shredding though weirdly, I felt confident throughout that we would come through. Just a constant visual of Hendo doing the shuffle on the gantry.

 

We had a few setbacks in this one too. Mo going off early due to a groin injury was a blow, and Virg not re-emerging for extra time could have set a few doubts in among our players. Diogo didn't do too badly and Big Bird was imperious. That turn of pace in his own box was awesome.

 

Sadio, for all his key penalties in shoot-outs this year, overthought it when trying to beat his countryman, and it was left to Kostas to be the hero. The mad bastard charged towards the Chelsea end before realising and then charged back the other way.

 

Two cups done, an attempt to win a third still to come, and there's still a very remote possibility of a surprise twist in the title race. Keep visualising Hendo doing the trophy-lift shuffle at Anfield and in Paris. You never know!

Pleased for Thiago after the disappointment of the last one.

 

Pleased for Milner too--if this is it he's getting more silverware than just a shitty watch.

 

Pleased for them all, really. Still going for all four this late in the year: two down, two to go.

 

An incredible season, all things considered.

 

Oh, and as good as Diaz was, Alisson has to be MOTM. He's so good that he makes it look easy.
