On Virgil's yellow card, I always think of Costacurta when talking about 2/3 yellow cards causes a player to miss a final. 

He was sent off in the semi final of the Champions league v Monaco for a wild but accidental collision so missed the final defeat of Barcelona. He was then booked in the World Cup semi final so missed that final 2 months later. 

 

A very harsh rule that cost some top players playing in major finals. Delighted they have changed the rules
