If it's true we're signing the lad from Aberdeen, it's hard to see Neco battling for a spot behind Trent and this new lad.

Shame for him he's stuck behind a top RB or he would have had the game time to develop and show how good he can be.

I’d sell Williams. If we’re signing Ramsey, I don’t see a place for him.

 

Hopefully his stock is high from the Fulham loan. I would be looking to put in a first refusal option and % sell on clause though - which we tend to do anyway these days.

He might still do that. Most likely not here though. I felt he didn't quite have the pace needed for the RB role in a Klopp system when he played there.

I'd sell him too. Ramsey looks a much better player and has a higher ceiling/potential. I think he has a chance to give Trent real competition in a few years time. Neco will never make it at a top club, he's not good enough on the ball.

It's not just Ramsey. Don't forget Conor Bradley, who's also got plenty of potential. Neco should continue to improve but we can afford to sell him.
