I can't remember which game it was, but Jota had a massive shove in the back with much more force than those today and all the commentators were adamant it was a fair challenge and no pen. Their double standards reveal their bias.

Genuinely want to know how they justify Richarlison only getting a yellow for that. He should be banned for 3 games the shithouse.

Yes. And Tyler and Carra rushing to say his last kick on Hendo 'looked worse in slo-mo'. Bollocks - loads of refs would have booked him again for that. He's no shame at all - lying on the ground while the action goes on, like some spoilt ten year old with his Mum watching. And as usual, they all ignore it afterwards. The whole of Everton's antics dismissed as 'playing on the edge, and there's nothing wrong in that'. Funny how if it's a foreign team they all get outraged.

Kevin Campbell in the studio, showing exactly why they’re known as “the bitters.”

Another derby defeat. Another hard luck story and a refereeing conspiracy against them.

But, remember, it’s us who are “always the victims.”

Now to wait for the inevitable false claims of a Liverpool fan stabbing an Evertonian after the game….

Spurs game wasn't it. Bad decision that could decide the title.

Fuck off fat Frank you fake Jose mourinho wannabe bastard. Fuck off with your 17% possession and absolute shit house tactics. Fuck off Everton with your constant bitching and rolling around faking injuries. I hope you get relegated from the championship next season too.

And fuck was that a penalty he barely fucking touches him. There is no "shove in the back" the little runt slows down, drags his foot and collides legs with Matip.

Deserved everything they got today and we deserved the win for being an actual football team

It was very borderline and silly by Matip. Had it been given no way VAR would have overuled the ref.

In the context of who it was, it may have been silly, but what is he supposed to do there? Gordon moves across him intentionally and as soon as they come together he flings himself to the ground. Same as the one he bought at Burnley. Fortunately, he's getting a name for himself now and as we saw in this game, refs are less likely to give him the benefit of the doubt. I can only imagine the reaction of Tyler etc. had Salah gone down like that at the other end.

It was Matips slight push in the back that gave the ref a decision to make. I agree about Gordon getting a reputation and the fact he had been booked for diving earlier saved us there imo .
