Roy Keane’s “we’re Manchester United, we should be better than this!” schtick is growing really tiresome now.

You had one prolonged spell of success. It’s over. Know your place, you entitled fuck.

And Souey mentioning 'the disasters they've been through' as part of the reason they should always be successful - that's a major reason why there's so much nonsense about that club. Absolute nonsense.

First half of total dominance. 20 minutes of sloppiness in the second half followed by 25 where we re-found our tempo. It was 4 and it really could have been more. It's clear that we are trying to conserve some energy during matches, but it's still quite jarring the difference between us going at full pelt and then easing up.

They said before this game that this is the worst United side since the old First Division days, but fucking hell they were beyond dreadful in that first half. I imagine their social media beauts like Andeh and Goldbridge would have been reduced to squeaking incoherantly after watching that. We've had our days where we've gone to their placed and been totally outclassed but I don't recall us being that ineffectual. Their starting line-up cost around £375m, and they had another £75m investment come on at half time. Still, as long as they continue to buy players to "make a statement" and go for ego and hype over a coherent plan, long may it continue.

A goal and an assist for all our starting front 3, plus an assist for the one who was on as sub is a very very good night's work.

Vorwarts!

I always think the one little problem with Keane's 'Dis club always used to maintain its standards' is that fact that he was bombed out of it for complaining about them NOT keeping those standards even in HIS day. The neat contrast isn't THAT neat.

Typical of Sky again, they're obsessing over Keita's tackle now - what about Sideshow Bob's antics?

To be fair I thought Keita's was bang out of order and a nailed on red. The frizzy headed kid should have had a yellow.

Delighted that Grace Kelly is getting the appreciation she deserves.

My aunt was meant to have looked the spit of her in her younger days and was a Kelly as well. She passed away two years ago. Boss old school Liverpool fan too who married a boss old school Evertonian.

Keane hates Maguire - great to watch him tearing into him " we gave him a bit of pr before the game". Lovely.
