Just tear into the bastards, use our pace and pressing up front to terrorise them.

Midfield, just keep it tight, contest everything and win those 2nd balls.

Big Virg and Konate to bully them from set pieces.

Come on Red men, let's win this convincingly in 90.

*coughs again*

Great first half dispite the cunt of a ref giving these Manc rats massive help.

5 definite, arguably 6 bookable challenges by them, 1 yellow. Fernandinho with two within 23 minutes, no card.

What a half! What a fucking half of football!

Salah has been terrible and the ref has been their twelvth man. And still we have absolutely destroyed them. Unreal!

World class perfomance from Thiago in midfield and still Keita has been better. Mane, Diaz and Konate also absolutely brilliant.

I say keep it up with the same intensity and go for the fourth. They just can’t live with us. Only way back for them I can see is if we lower the tempo and intensity and try to control the game that way.

We've got the magic number. We've played well like that recently and only got the two, and we've suffered for it. Three is what we deserved, at least.

Aside from Alisson's insane kicking - he keeps pausing and creating the pressure, if he just kicked it while he had the time and space he'd be fine - we've looked very good indeed. Diaz plays like a little kid who's finally been allowed to start a game. He's a joy to watch.

They should have had two more bookings (Oliver clearly forgot once when he let play go on) and Fab's booking was a cheat from their player.

There's obviously a challenge to come - our bench is mainly a tighten things up bench, while theirs carries an attacking threat - but if we can just get Salah more space in the second half this could be fun.
