Would have loved us to have signed him while he was at Wolfsberg after Mourinho binned him off. He couldnt have been on that big a wedge and the transfer fee wouldnt have been massive.

Would his signing have co incided with Stevie still being here or had Stevie left by then, cant remember. Chance missed in my view.

Yip.

Just behind Kante, Fabinho is the best in the business and De Bruyne mad him look quite silly yesterday.

For all City's undeniable overall technical quality De Bruyne is the one player that can do it at warp speed.

I think he often gets bored of the tippy tappy shit and just smashes a 50 yard pass, or goes on a mazy, to alleviate it.

Just as Stevie would.

City payed 55m. No chance we could’ve spent that kinda cash on one player at the time.

We bought Benteke for about £35m quid that summer (pretty sure it was that summer), so who were the real winners anyway?

A debate for another day perhaps.

Not a fair comment that, fab has been brilliant most of the season and just happened to be not with it yesterday, as were others too.

I don’t blame him for that. I think Hendo disjoints the middle when Fabinho and Thiago play. Honestly I’d start Milner to do the centre of the pitch gear. Fabinho is outstanding where he is and Thiago is as close you’ll get to a bank vault robber on a football pitch if he’s allowed to roam.
