As it stands in the CL ties, Pep will be more likely to make a sub in a potential title-decider than Klopp, with an eye on the 2nd leg. 

 

None of Jota, Mo, Sadio, Bobby, Hendo or Thiago played near the full 90 tonight. And Big Joel stayed parked on the bench.

Isn't this just the normal to-and-fro of competitive sport?  What do people expect, for us to go out and steamroll every opponent for 90 minutes?  It isn't remotely realistic, especially in a CL quarter final.  Sometimes you have to give the other team some credit.  

 

Djokovic (legend) doesn't win every match in straight sets, his opponent will put up a fight at some stage.  It's called competition.  

 

We win virtually every game, but some people moan throughout every match thread expecting some sort of total domination.  Again, not realistic.

 

I'm not having a go at you in particular, Trumo, but people need to get a grip.  We're fucking brilliant, we have arguably the greatest team we've ever assembled (certainly in the last 30 years, no question).  Why not appreciate it for what it is instead of shitting a brick every game?  It's neurotic behaviour.

I don't know if it was that he didn't play on the week-end, or that he paced himself better, but it was great to see him running as hard in the 90th minute as he was in the first.
