I reckon it will evolve the game tactically. Training and cohesiveness will be more important especially for specific circumstances. Need to project a lead, or go for it well the manager now have more options. 

 

It will also allow for the development of younger players as more game time is afforded to players on the fringes. 
 

its just a good idea all round.

As someone who loves playing games, I often spend an hour trying to work out the weaknesses of the opposition and trying to formulate a plan to overcome them. If, at that point, the opposition changes half their team it’s back to square one. Affects the essence of the game for me. 
 

If players need resting rotate them next game; rubbish to suggest a few extra minutes on the bench for 2 players will “protect” the squad.
