Part of me is worried this cup run will harm our league and CL ambitions if we get to the final. They are the ones I really care about tbh. I think the quad is unrealistic so if we were to lose today I’d see the positive side. When the match starts my opinion is subject to change, obviously.

Remember when these used to have the better of us in cup games. All seemed to turn our way at their gaff I think during an FA Cup tie?

Dave Jonno hit the post at least once which brought Bob out of the dug out with a 'WTF?!' look on his face. But then we rattled in a couple of goals and the natural order was restored.

I hope we win and Jurgen puts out a lesser side because for me, the league always trumps the cups especially now we're only a point behind the doped cheats.

See video....was first time we had beat them in about half a dozen or more attempts

Surprised record is this bad there!

Liverpool have been unable to record a win over the east Midlands side in their last 12 visits to the City Ground, a run that dates back 37 years to when Ronnie Whelan and Ian Rush earned a 2-0 result.

Our away record was awful full stop in the 90s. That's when I started going regularly and it took me a while before I saw our first win
