I love this old school European performance.

We did the same in the first leg, and versus Arsenal second leg in the Cup.

We can kill teams like this, and then pick them off 2nd half.

Jota showing again why he's not a central player in this system.

I guess the primary objective was not to concede so job done in that first half. Apart from the fk  Alisson didn't have much to do . Tough watch though.

Leeds game aside our last few matches have been like this, but as long as the results keep coming I'm happy.

I wish this female co-commentator would STFU. Exchanging a piss-poor male pundit for a piss-poor female one is no help to anyone, and she obviously feels obliged to talk endlessly to justify her presence.

As for the game, we need to spread the play out in their half. Salah is out on the right, Jota is often out on the right and even Mane (why???) is sometimes out on the right.

This is a challenge for Mo. If he wants to be hailed as the top player, he needs to sort out these problems he's facing. Yes, teams are now sending three players to stifle him, but he has to change his movement to respond to that. He can't just keep waiting for a pass that will cut all three players out, or else keep on running into them and hoping the ball will stay attached to his feet. He's got to show some initiative.

Sanchez was booked according to the Champions League app and LiveScore. I didn’t see the graphic flash up on the live coverage though. It’s a borderline red, for me.

We’ve done alright. Just a bit too rushed when in possession.

I didn't see it either but on BBC it's saying he was booked.  Though they said the Cat Fingerer Zouma was booked on Saturday and he wasn't.
