Apart from money, he may wish to play for one of the more traditionally "glamorous" international clubs, i.e., Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern at a push.

 

And there may be financial incentives in addition to wages to join PSG.

 

I can't see any other realistic alternative club.

This might be absolute bollocks but given Haaland's abilities he strikes me as a player who will make them much more likely to beat teams even slightly weaker than they are and more likely to lose to teams as strong or stronger than them.

According to the city statement, Haaland (£65M) has cost less than Maguire(£80M). They obviously didn’t include some of the trivial costs like his wages.

He looks world class already or is nearly at that level, but I don't really see him fitting into a Pep team. I mean great players and great managers normally find a way but my gut feeling is he would have been better served going to Bayern or Real in a years time. 

 

Just like us,City play a very unique way. You look at Diaz he fits us like a glove. No doubt Haaland will score a lot of goals, but I just don't see him improving their first eleven. Sounds like a mad thing to say. He's obviously a better player than Jesus, but Jesus knows his role there. This could be a Zlatan at Barca scenario.

Keita looked world class In the Bundesliga, but it didn’t transmute to the Premier League. There’s no guarantees with Haaland.
