Matheus Nunes going to Chelsea, which is a bit of a bummer.

Well our list of potential targets appear to be narrowing.

See some are reporting that Bellingham loses his home grown status if he doesn't move this summer. Don't know if that would be significant for us...

Don't see how you can lose homegrown status, you either are or aren't.

Anyway, sad news about Nunes, I decided on the back of one YouTube highlight reel that he would singlehandedly win the premier League so congrats on your 22/23 victory Chelsea.

Don't know if this is right or not - but....

So scrolled down through this clowns thread and apparently we had reached Personnel terms with Tchouamani and Mbappe with Real Madrid. Throw enough shit some of it will stick.

Serious question, all these Twitter quims with LFC based accounts just tweeting unsubstantiated bollocks, what do they get out of it? Is it monetised in some way like on YouTube in which you get paid if you get so many views?

I'm fairly sure it's 3 years between the ages of 15-21, and he moved abroad when he was 17.

That rang a bell, looked it up.

That is the uefa rule so he wouldn't count as homegrown for champions League if he stayed in Germany.

Premier League rule is any time up to 21.

Football never ceases to amaze, sterling leaving one shithouse club and signing for an even bigger one! Still, it's a fucking joke the new chelsea regime was allowed to come in and just inject \ spunk \ put aside up to £200m for transfers. Any other 'new owners' allowed to do that without a by your leave?

Newcastle had effectively underspent under Ashley so had room to spend without breaking any remnants of the PL's laughable FFP when their new owners came in.

Chelsea's new owner alerted authorities to 'tax discrepancies' during the take over yet are still allowed to spend with virtual impunity. Dont get me started on the shite still being allowed to sign new players despite being 3 times over the FFP 'limits'!

Jesus, I honestly don’t know how we do it.

He’s got 21 international caps and helped Fulham get promotion. Southampton are paying £10m for some City 18 year old (Lavia?) who nobody’s ever heard of. One of those is a good deal (for both parties). The other is distinctly dodgy.

Regardless, it’s a lot of money for someone we clearly don’t want. We played Milner at RB before him early last season from memory.

Elliot hit the same CL rule because he went to Blackburn on loan.

It's not dodgy, the lad is probably top notch. Its the city model, hoover up all the best kids in the world and pay them extortionate money. None of it will go against FFP but all the sale money will, its a bottomless pit for them,  straight from the Chelsea playbook.
